The Importance of Networking for your Business; turn LinkedIn into your Wheelhouse; Our February Meeting…
In an ever-challenging market, the power of networking has never been so relevant. Getting out and in front of people really does have the ability to change your business. It may not be that the person you meet is the one to give you business, but perhaps they recommend you for a speaking gig; or mention you to someone who can use you. Who are they connected with and who could collaborate with you?
Since I launched the Small Business Co-llab in May last year, many businesses have made connections, collaborated or worked with the individuals or businesses they have met in our group. It’s really heartening to hear.
This month, we have a guest speaker who knows all about the power of networking. Rebecca Newenham set up LinkedIn Local - Guildford and was the inspiration for me to make the Small Business Collab and CHARLOTTE WEBB Photography the host for LinkedIn Local - Epsom and Ewell. (Follow me on LinkedIn Local here.) It’s a new venture but one that I hope helps our community to grow with the LinkedIn brand behind it.
Rebecca is an expert on franchising, having built up her business to the point that she was able to franchise it. She now advises other businesses on how to do the same. She is also a mentor to many businesses and can offer us great insight from both a franchise and business consultant point of view and also as Networker in Chief.
